Exactly what Goblin said a few posts up. Outing them without screaming "I KNOW YOU POSTED ON THE BG SECRETS ACCOUNT!" If you are simply using "I heard blah blah blah, don't deny it, it's true and you know it" it's still outing them, you just aren't admitting to where it was "heard" from.

IMO that person has no business with the information either, unless that information is going directly to one of the others trusted with it.

I think if we get too far into drama and stuff on BG, all of this is going to be gray area. I mean, I have a lot of my PT on my facebook as well and vent in a group to them on there. What if I tell one of them my 'secret' on facebook and they don't know I posted it in the secrets account. Unexpected drama occurs and a fight comes out and they unknowingly (that it was posted in bg secrets) share my secret?

Same effect if someone else reads the secret post and tells someone else but didn't say where they heard it. Again, someone unknowingly outing a secret.

There are probably other examples... but I feel like people being banned for this is a little harsh IMO. I don't know what happened that brought this poll to be but I think it should be taken on a case by case basis.

I think hinting in a minor or major way, or full-out blatantly outing a BG secrets poster is for one a very immature thing to do. I don't know if this stemmed from anything in particular, and I hope it didn't - but yes, I believe that that is a completely ban-worthy offense.

I think there's still a discreet way of going about 'saving someone's life'. As in, through you or a mod, or other close friends. The person who believes they have information on another person who might harm themselves should not come out and make a FFA post about it, ya know? If anything that might very well make the situation worse.


If I were in that position and believed a friend was about to harm themselves, I'd go straight to close friends or family of said friend, if that weren't possible and time was an issue, I'd call the police.

Making an 'out' post on Gaga would not remedy the situation in any way, just worsen it, even if the intent was to help. Gaga is not the place for a staged intervention.

thats not why I figured out it was her. It was the WHOLE post. Not that part at all, Alot of people on here say it. She gave out WAY to much info in that post, that I knew which account she was and her threads., It was almost a copy and paste.
