placenta positioning?

posted 16th Aug '12
hi i am 22 weeks pregnant and after seeing my consultant last week i have been advised to go on aspirin ( i suffer from high blood pressure) to reduce the risk of pre-eclampsia . She has also booked further scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks. This is due to the positioning of the placenta which they are hoping will rise so i can have natural delivery. I am concerned about this as its all new to me and the fact im not feeling my baby isnt really helping. Ive heard heartbeat n seen scans but i would feel more reassured if i could feel him move, all im feeling is cramp like pains, which ive been told is the stretching n also could be baby kicking but im feeling it as cramps due to the fact that baby is actually kicking my placenta.
