How many miscarriages did you have to go through...?

..Until you had a healthy pregnancy?

Three. Only two are documented. I had a really rough pregnancy after that but a really strong and healthy baby! Seriously, she's absolutely perfect despite everything I went through.

2. both had no heartbeats when the initial ultrasound. and then the third one i was scared off my ass . but there was a flickering and i was like HOLY smurf you're still there...

I had 2 normal pregnancies, 1 miscarriage, and then another pregnancy with some complications, but she carried to term and is healthy.

My mom had four in between me & my younger sister. Doctor suspects she's unable to carry males.

How does that happen? Not being able to carry males.. Just the body reacting to it?

I don't know, and I'll never know, if I had one before DS. When I was in a country where I didn't have access to medical care I realized my period was a week late. My friend had two pregnancy tests and offered them to me. One was positive and one was negative (dipped in the same cup). A few days later I started bleeding and it was the worst period I ever had. I've always wonder if I was pregnant then and it eats at me. If I was pregnant then it was with condoms and it scared us into getting on birth control for double the protection.
Then we conceived our son, with both condoms and birth control. Obviously that pregnancy was all well and good.
I'm pregnant again now, planned this time, but there was a miscarriage (also when we were TTC) in between.

Really? There's women who can only carry one sex?

I told one of my doctors that I've had a few false positives associated with a few bad periods, and he said that it was highly unlikely. I thought my endomitriosis and ovarian cysts might give me crazy hormones, but apparently, I could have had one or two more =/ I know that isn't very reassuring, but I think it's better to know things for sure.

I've had two and they were both planned but they were pretty soon after stopping birth control. Do you think the bc has something to do with it or would everything be back to normal like really soon?

Not too sure. She had three healthy girls. & that was just the doctor's theory about her miscarriages. I would assume it was her body rejecting the pregnancy due to all the hormones that come with forming a boy. Her body just wasn't going to do it , & miscarried the babies. But again , it was just a theory.

Zero. I've only had two pregnancies. My first resulted in my son and my second ended in a MC at three or four weeks. I knew about the pregnancy early on because we had been trying so I knew what was up the moment it started happening. Hopefully the next pregnancy will go better.

I imagine it was very likely a miscarriage but don't feel right saying it was when I don't know. When I finally got to see a doctor in the UK, she said it was probably a chemical pregnancy but there was a small chance it wasn't.
