BH vs Contractions

I will be 34 wks on Friday. I have had BH since 17wks, this is my 3rd baby. I lost my plug on Monday, then more of it tonight. Ever since monday, I have been having cramping on and off, feeling like period cramps, but nothing like my BH. My BH feel like extreme tightening, and I can feel the intensity on my throat. Nut these cramps that I have on and off aren't timeable like my BH are and they literally feel like I am about to start my period, mainly in the evening. Sound normal? Are these real contractions, even though they feel nothing like my intense BH?

I have been drinking and I eat ice throughout the day constantly, so I know that isn't the issue. But they occur only in the evenings and started monday evening after I lost my plug. I go to the doc in the morning, but I wanted to try to get some feedback from bg first.

It just sounds like the normal end of pregnancy. I was really crampy from 35 weeks and until I had her, I also lost my plug at 29 weeks.

It could be the baby moving? When I'm laying down for awhile then go to get up I get cramping and my doctor said its just her shifting her weight slowly and reacting to my moving around

I feel it more and earlier with every pregnancy. But why are you eating ice?

They tested my hemoglobin today, they think I might be anemic. That would be where the ice craving came from. Weird, I also crave the smell of gasoline. Pregnancy is so weird! I went to the doc today and I am 1cm dilated and they can feel his head. A little difference from 2wks ago being closed and head down. Doc said we just gotta make sure I make it at least 2 more weeks to 35 and then they wont stop it.
