Someone had mentioned that a brother or sister was a drug addict and another mentioned no spanking would lead to that.

I was just making the point that not all children turn out to be smurfs if they are spanked and vice versa.

I said me and my BD were at one point.
I said my cousins were not spanked and were AWESOME kids.

I was only saying that just because they are not physically disciplined, does not mean they will be rotten. Or just because they were does not mean they will be rotten, either.

Obviously, spanking didn't work on her, but it does on some.

You can discipline your child without being physical. I was never spanked for minor infractions. I was 9 the last time I was spanked. I turned out well, but Dad also explained why I was being punished. Or gave me, "go to your room and think about it." And I would, and sometimes he would ask me why I did it, and what I thought he should do. Really gave me insight.

Will we be spanking? Probably not.

But no one should give their kids a good whack just to ensure they don't wind up behind bars. That's illogical.

I think you my be confused. That's the exact point that everyone, except stupid twit,was trying to make. But, we used sarcasm which clearly went over your head.

LOL. Perhaps you should have been in the origional thread with this brat of a kid. In PA $4k/ month is not alot of money. You know, cost of living difference. Here, it is good money that a family can easily live off. Then again, Montana is pretty cheap in comparasion. Just as it is really inexpensive to live in Texas. Get to a big city in the east and it is MUCH different!

Bull Smurf! You know it and I know it. The main reason that is a load of crap is because I am rarely on here anymore. Only when my husband is out of town. Even at that, I am a mother of three who has more to do than search for Drama on BG. had that little girl (she owns that title) never insulted me about my parenting in the first place or called me the names she did in MY thread this wouldn't have happened. If you bothered to read this from the start, you would know she came at me as soon as she found this thread (that was already in TDC) and that is where it flared.

Before you pop off with your "someone commiiting suicide because of E bullying" you really need to have your facts straight!
