Thank God we're military... pretty much everything is covered and we don't pay a dime out of pocket! We'd be lost without that reassurance!

I'm military too, so everything free for me, But since it's my parents insurance, It doesn't count for the baby, I cost about $800-1500 for the baby to be born.

omgosh! i know exactly what you mean! i just got two hospital bills in the mail today! i already paid them some money from the first bills they sent me. It isnt right that they can just keep on sending more bill when my baby is over 2 months old!!! im so pissed!

bunnie... didnt you deliver at St. Francis? If so, a friend of mine was telling me that if you're household income is less than 30K your bills are covered. You have to apply, its some sort of assistance, she got it with her last baby...and they had insurance. They paid it all! I think its called CARE or something...she said all you have to do is call the billing place and ask them about assistance. Let me know how it goes

I still get bills from my daughter and she is 2 years old now. I had United Health Care (which sucks big time, btw) and we still owe well over $10,000.. and thats JUST for the hospital. My daughter was in the hospital for over 2 weeks with MRSA and they charged us a freakin' arm and leg for the nursery, her medicine, and me staying in a "parent room" because I was breastfeeding. She is well worth it, though
