Mother In Laws

So most of us have them and I was just wondering what is the dumbest or weirdest thing they said to you while pregnant. Just this morning my MIL asked how the doctors appts have been going (not weird or dumb). So I told her all was going well. She then says well I am waiting until the dreaded first 6 weeks are over to tell people. So I then told her well I am actually 7 weeks and she goes oh good I can tell people. So I then said you do realize I have 5 more weeks till the 1st trimester is over and she goes yeah but you are in the clear now that you are 7 weeks. This woman has 2 kids shouldn't she know the whole 1st trimester is a "fragile" time? lol

things were very different back then. my MIL gave my SIL OJ when she was a month old 25-30 years ago everything was backwards. you should talk to my granny who had kids 50+_ years ago.

my mil bought me all boys cloths and kept telling me i had to be prepared when the baby came out with a penis instead of a vagina b/c apparently they make boys. needless to say she still has a vagina to this day, and my mil still thinks its going to change

yup shes fucking nuts im actually getting ready to leave to deal with the entire family for the whole day...glad i got drunk last night i knew i was gonna need it today lol

i cant stand my MIL she says dumb things ALL the time. here is one for you....we were having the baby shower at her house, and about 2 days before she asks me as serious as can be...."So it says on the invite that you registered at babies r us, so when do the presents come"..."what?" ...."dont they bring the presents that people picked out to the shower?"...."ummm no, people go to the store and print out my registry and then buy the presents" ...."oh so the people bring the presents?"....."YES!" ....and then at the shower....she drops my cake on the floor while i'm opening presents   yes the cake that my mother stayed up the whole night before making and decorating. SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY!

My MIL really is a sweet lady and she has been nothing but good to me but she just says stupid shit sometimes that make me look at her like this  

my mother in law called me to tell me that there are nose suckers for kids boogers. I was like..yeah I know about those, I have had 2 kids before this pregnancy..and she was like..Oh because I only just found out about them..and this lady has raised 3 kids. Me and my husband looked at each other ..and were like..WTH how do you have 3 kids and never suctioned their noses. She just let their snot sit.

I could write a book about how much my MIL annoys me. Seriously, ever since my shower it has only gotten worse. Especially now that i had my son....when he was 3 days old,i walk into the kitchen and she is holding him with one arm and with the other arm making pancakes and a grill of bacon is popping and cooking right next to her....with my 3 day old baby in her one arm   
I wanted to kill her. She seriously doesnt have any common sense. It's like she is drunk all the time. Okay one more example...when he was 3 months, it was christmas time...and she FINALLY got him something (nothing @ the shower, or when i was in the hospital) and it was these ugly christmas pajamas....what was the size? 9 months...hello, he is only 3 months, and she says, well if they dont fit he can wear them next year. WTF? she is crazy i swear.

OMG!! Is that my MIL? lol When I was pregnant she was sooo convinced I was going to have a boy and bought a ton of boy stuff. His parents came to the u/s w/ us and when the tech said we were having a girl his MIL clearly looked disappointed and said 'Really!? I think you should check again.' Then until the day we had our girl she kept telling us how those ultrasounds can be wrong and boy parts were probably just hiding (mind you, we had 6 u/s because they were watching her growth and confirmed she was a girl every single time). Now my SIL is having a boy and MIL was convinced it would be a girl cause she had a dream about it. Whacko...

I would have slapped her for having the baby near the sizzling bacon. Do you live with your MIL. Because we do. For now at least.

my granny had kids in the time they put you under and pulled the baby out w/forceps.(sp?) she asked me when the dr. planned on giving med the shot and sending med to ther hospital to get gassed? I had to explain that I would either naturally go into labor or they would give me drugs to put me into labor. either way,i'd be pushing the baby out myself. she replied "you really do live in a horrible agesomething she always says) i'd rather be knocked out!" It's no wonder my dad has cebral palsy and is mostly blind and deaf!!!!

No, we dont THANK GOD....but we did live with his dad for a little while and she would just come over ALL the time and bug me and the baby. And it made me so mad, she wanted to hold him at all the wrong times even now she still does and he is 9 months old. We dont get along at all because i'm not afraid to hurt her feelings like everyone else is. She tried so hard to get into the roon when i was having my son. We didnt even know she was at the hospital, derek saw her peeking her head in the door while i was pushing as people were going in and out of the room...I WANTED TO KILL HER!

I'm not married but my boyfriends mother is insane ever single time my daughter cries its gas. no matter what i tell her the problem is she still insists its gas and gets an attitude when i take my daughter n feed her or put her to sleep or what ever the actual problem is. she drives me crazy.

Well the other day , My "MIL" was over, and my Boyfriend was sitting on the computer, complaing he needed a break, and I said "Well when do I get a break"
And she has the nerve to speak up and say "oh you don't get a break I NEVER did"
Sorry if she is a submisive stay at home mother who lets her husband walk all over her, but I DESERVE a break once in a while.!! .... *ugh*
