Grrrrrrr! Some mommies really suck!

Okay, I am aware that "name stealing" doesn't exsist any more in the day and age of 10 Ava's, Rileys's, and Aidens in one kindergarten classroom, that it is merely a case of several people hereing and loving the same name and seeing themselves with a child named this!! I know!!!

But I went to high school with this chick and she absolutely drives me crazy!!

I named my first sin Zaden! the first time she heard my name form a mutual frind she exclaimed, that is what I have picked for my son too! and she named him zayden slightly different spelling! fine, who cares, I am over it!

So then i have my next son, maddox! She is undecided on names until I have him, she is also pregnant and immediatly after, she is using that name for a boy too!!!!

She had a girl and instead, since i had no girlslol, took our other frinds daughters name, Laila! and now she is preg again, i don't talk to her anymore but my friend, yet again, tells her that I have decided to name my son Ozzie and she says that is what I WAS going to name my baby if it is a boy!! okay, am i the only one with a "yeah right" at this point?

Ozzie isn't exactly like the other ones where you know others who have used it so it is very possible...If i changed my mind, how many of you wanna bet whe would change hers too!?

Sorry about the vent but their are these books with thousands of names to choose from and when i pick mine from them, I am generally lookng for names that I don't know someone else who named their kid it already! i feel name stalked! lol

haha I'm sry but you said "my first sin" and it just cracked me up! My sildid the same thing though. a friends of mine got preg and a few wks later she found out she was preg. my friends decided to name her son Caiden (this was 2yrs ago before you heard it much) and then my sil said OH ive always loved that name I'm naming my son that. She ended up naming him Erick. Quite the difference which tells me she never even wanted the name caiden just wanted more drama.Now I didn't find out what I'm having but I tell everyone if it's a girl I'm naming her Grace. My sil is preg again due in Nov and I'm so scared that I'm going to end up having a boy and shell have a girl and name her Grace. I already have a whole speech planned out incase she does decide to pull that crap with me! lol

yeah i would be upset to - When we were pregnant with our first we were going to name the baby Garrison if it was a boy and Maddelyn if it was a girl - we ended up having a girl and her name became Maddelyn. We always said if we ever got pregnant with a boy that we would name him Garrison..... WEEELLLLLL my sister in law and her husband got pregnant when my daughter was 18 months old..... they were really undecided on a name BUT when they had their baby shower they announced they had finally picked a name - they had decided to name their son Garrison Lee...... knowing damn well we were going to use that name if we ever had a boy - so now I have a nephew by the name of Garrison - and to this day it still outrages it me because she totally "stole" our name - the name Garrison is a family name on my husband's side and so she (his sister) uses that as the reason why they decided on that name..... This was also the same sister that announced her engagment at our wedding...... UGH family drama - gotta love it =)

wow, I so would've told her some off the wall name like NosmoKing from that old story about the lady who woke up and saw a "sign" that she was supposed to name her son that, it was a sign alright, a no smoking sign!! lol anyways, i'd of love to see what she'd of done then!!!

With the way my hormones are going, I would kill her if she was family!!!! That I could not take!

My family is the weirdest on that though, they actually think we should use the same names! My aunts were trying to get my mom to have antoher baby for years and my name is tamra lynn so they wanted her to name her daughter Lynn Tamra!!! what the hell!

My aunts also wanted my to name my sons after their sons! how weird is that! What if they wanted to name their first kids after them! then we would have like three brandons, blakes or bryans, wait, all the boys are Bs, how dumb! lol

Normally I dont agree with name "stealing" but WOW! That is pretty bad!

She is due whay after me but i will be 1000 miles south when i have our son so she probably won't even find out what we named him! And I did, i said I changed it to Gunther! LOL I totally played it up as this hot guy from this old western movie I have always loved! teehee! I will know soon if she "has always loved that movie too and has that on her list!" lol

Well if we have a boy we plan to name him Joseph and I know she won't steal that because it's they're fathers name and she had a fit when we told her we were going to use it because it might "offend our mother" screw her it's not her baby! Besides it's a very popular middle name in my family so I can say we're naming the baby after like everyone in my family even though it's more after his father than anyone in my family. But it works to not make anyone upset!

they are just names, i don't care if anyone else names their baby the name i picked out as long as they don't take my last name to lol then something is up but as for names no one is stealing a name or copying off of you. i say as long as the name is special to you then you should just brush it off your sholders =]
