Question about swelling (TMI)

okay so I have noticed that my vaj jay has been well I guess swelling, which I heard was normal!? Well... I just noticed that my lips are swollen and so are my inner lips but only one side of my inner lip is swollen! Is that normal for my lips to swell? Or could it be some kind of infection? I know it's not caused by sex b/c my husband is deployed so I haven't had sex in along time!

Well I know that I had this happen and they said it was from the baby putting pressure down there. Are you having any abnormal discharge or anything?

If you're not having any burning, itching or funky discharge I don't think I'd worry about it. As you noted, swelling is normal.

I have been having a lot of discharge! My Dr. said it was fine though b/c it didn't smell!

It is normal from the pressure of the baby on your lady bits. Don't worry hun. It swells lots more after you push. At least mine did because i pushed for two hours and needed an emergency c section.
