I have some back problems but only when I'm on my feet too long. Some girls I know said they had back problems for atleast a year after they gave birth.
i did not for me it was a life savor i would recomend it to every one it was amazing but i think every ones body handles it diff. and it also has to do with the person that gives it
It slowed my labor way down and I ended up having a c-section. I believe that was a big contributing factor for the surgery..... I also have pain in my back for about 6 weeks afterward. He did have to poke me 3 times though to get it in.... that might explain all the pain.
There is a small risk of back problems with the epi. I only had troubles with it once (I've had 4 epis). This last one I had a slight backache at the injection site on and off for the first2 or 3weeks after I had it done. It's wasn't even bad enough to take a tylenol though.
Mine hurt a little from where it went it the next day. It only hurt for one day though and the doctor mentioned that the back pain was something they needed to watch...so I am assuming that it could mean something is wrong, but like C. said its very rare. I do believe that a lot of women that said that really have back problems may have had it inserted wrong or weird. JMO though.
