3.75 here =/ no wonder my mom questioned me coming to visit her. lol

Believe me - I would if I could. We have one car between the two of us, and defiantely don't want to buy a new one with the way the economy is going. Plus it's hard - what do you do with groceries, or a carseat on a bike? I'm actually thinking of buying hubby one of those moped/scooter type things (they're all over where we live) and they only use about $10.00 a week on gas.

we used to take the kids out for drives around where we live just before bed.... we cant do that anymore and they are not happy...  ....My daughter just says get some more money from the bank...oh well could be worse i guess it will be $2 a litre here soon they are saying and theres about 3.75 litres to a gallon so then the price will be $7.50....holy moly....

I was thinking of getting one of those myself a few years ago, and now it's really beginning to look like a good idea, lol. There's always those little baby seats for bikes, and there's also strollers for the bus. I'll be taking the bus every day to work when I start back in a few weeks. It'll add an hour or so onto my day, but IMO will be well worth it. But we have a small car to begin with and aren't really hurting gas wise since we stopped driving the Caddy.

i just cant imagine people surving with gas and food cost going up.. i mean people need to get raises.! its like living pay check to pay check to make it in life these days! Thanks government!

yea just weigh the gas u would put in car in two weeks vs the bus far.. be living large of what u save from gas!

nope, no crazy traffic where i live..well, except for summer with all the stupid tourists who dont know how to drive. i live in the hamptons.  

As of yesterday 2.36 USDa liter. So if Im doing my math correcty about 8.90 USD a gallon. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

yea i suspose location matters, when i think of new york driving i thin the constant honking traffic in town where no one moves and al lthe ppl crossing streets. hah

OMG do you ladies see what the moms overseas are paying it is gonna be like that here very soon and I dont know what I am gonna do with a child comming and groceries rising hell it is 3.78 in the panhandle and I am 416 miles from home! It cost me 54.00 to fill my tank up today and I am gonna have to do that again half way to Jacksonville so I can get back home.
