I wouldnt mind seeing it.. I saw my neice born, though I dont really remember it much.. I also have said I wouldnt mind it being recorded cause its not like everyone in the world gets to see it.. (might even been good birthcontrol when she gets older if I made her watch it   ) But we arnt recording it, though there will be pictures taken.. and Im not very modest so click away.. lol

I had my hubby, mom and sister in the room with me when I had my daughter and I told all of them not to look and that I did not want to see at all. However, once things started happening I really didn't care who was in there and what they saw. As soon as they all started saying "Oh look! You can see her head! Look at all her hair!" My doctor had me reach down and feel her head. I then immediately wanted to see. So I made the nurses rush to find a mirror so I could watch! I'm so glad I did because even though it was pretty gross, it at the same time was the most amazing thing I have ever seen =)

my nurse asked if i wanted a mirror, i said sure.... it gave me the motivation to push harder... before i had the mirror i was so tired, i didnt push all that hard... my mom and my bf kept telling me they see the head, keep pushing, but i was just too tired... as soon as that mirror came in and i saw his head for myself, i wanted him out and i pushed and kept pushing with no break til he was out

I was SOOOO against it when I was preg the first time...No way no how not happening...Dont wanna know...

But then when I was in labour, they asked if I wanted a mirror. IK had been pushing for an hour and they thought it might giv eme but more encouragement....
After a little direction giving from me.... I saw him, "He was right there."
It was amazing...I was that close to meeting my little man.
there were 4 ppl standing at the end of the bed who saw my little boy take his first breath, his eyes open, him come right out.. and meet the world.
And I missed it.
Im his mum and I missed it.
I really wish I had have videoed it, at least then I could have the choice to watch it or not....it would have been one of my most treasured posessions.
I would like to tape this one, but dad isnt much ofa photographer... we have some great sound footageof when they weighed Joel, and it is funny to hear me on tape in the labour room saying...Rod take the lens cap off....!

Everything as too rushed, there were a few complications in the last hour of labor and it didnt even cross my mind... i wanted to feel her crown but after 3 pushes she popped right out. so i didnt even have the option.   I did... however ask to see the placenta... the dr looked at me like i was crazy when i asked. But i mean, it had been inside me just as long as my baby... its not like i wanted to name it or eat it LOL it was a one time only shot. it wasnt THAT gross looking.

They asked me if I wanted to look but I was in too much pain and just wanted to get it over with haha. I may look with this one or video tape it just out of curiosity with this one, but I still have a long time before I decide on it.

ohhh ...l certainly don't want my hubby looking .I'm so scared that if he sees it in that state that he may never go back to it again....but I'm not sure if I want to look or if I'll be happy that I did ..if that makes any sense?!

Yeah true..I didnt like the colour of my bits in the mirror but it was the least most important thing i was focussed on...It really is amazing but everyone is different...I respect that, but this time, Id like to have the option to watch it if I want to or, never see it if I dont want to..its not something I can ever get back.
