You realize it's a liability issue, right   They can't say that it's guaranteed to prevent them. The other girl is right. The key ingredients are proven to prevent them when used correctly and often enough.

I was prone to getting stretch marks because I had them in some places before even getting pregnant. Yet I got none when pregnant because I used the cream twice a day.

All research that I have ever done or seen on here has said they are not preventable, they are genetic. There is no way in changing that. You can try preventing them but if youre going to get them then you will.

Okay and thats fine, Im just saying not all products are only to help improve stretch marks, there are products that actually help prevent them. Im a esthetician and I know a fair emount about skin care. She asked for feedback on what she can use to help, I gave her my opinion and exsperiance, and I genuinely beleive that cocoa butter helped, i noticed a big diffrence in the feel of my skin, some people wont be abel to completly avoid them, because like you said, genetics is a factor. But whatever you can use to help REDUCE them, I would push towards palmers as it is great to improve the elasticity which is also a HUGE factor.

Yeah genetics is a big thing, which sucks. But oh well, if you can keep them to a minimum thats great but ither way if you get them or not its well worth it and wear them proud

I think the purpose of this forum was for positive feedback.

It was just for peoples opinions on what helped them the most, like I said I know their genetic ..if I get them I won't be ashamed of them one bit!

Lol I was the same which is why I had the cream on 24/7, I always had my clothes sticking to me at work, it was uncomfortable, but it was mandatory haha.

the cocoa butter is actually quite greasy but it keeps you moist all day. It's kind of exspensive but I found it on sale at Shoppers drug mart a few times for like 4.00$ and STOCKED UP! Youll go through alot so be sure to do the same if you see a sale

I used cocoa butter lotion almost daily, I don't have any marks on my stomach but did get some on my hips. My mom was covered in them from my brother and I so I figured I would be, but thankfully I'm not.

Honestly not sure why people really care about getting stretch marks. When you get pregnant you know what can happen, your body changes. I have stretch marks from my daughter and I'm proud of them.<3 I mean it's not like you'll be on a stripper pole or out flaunting your body? Well I'd hope not. My daughter is almost 2 months old and mine are barely visible unless you look for them.
