re: Vaccines question!

posted 16th May
I don't vaccinate. I may vaccinate when Cameron is older though before he starts school.

I do wish more people would read into it before they decide to give their children all those combination shots.

For children that are always around other children, like in a daycare, I would opt to vaccinate. But Cameron stays at home all day with me. I work in a nursery at night at a recreation center, but there are usually no kids.

The thing with vaccines is that you can always give them at a later date, but once you give them, you can't take it away.

vaccines are important....if parents stop vaccinating their kids then we are going to have huge outbreaks of disease and illness affecting our children

Oh, if you really want to look more into it, check out "The Vaccine Book" by Dr. Sears.

That's what I think. Also, I would be so pissed if a child brought something into the school and my boys got it. I would have one hell of a lawsuit. I didnt think you could enter kindergarten without them, but she said she's fighting it and you can get it extended or something. I just don't see why anyone wouldn't want to vaccinate.

It is a parent's choice. I understand that Emma Grace is passionate about it, but she has to realize that people view her more as crazy than helpful.

I say that let parents do their own research, and let them make their own decisions about it. But I do believe that people should look into it more instead of just automatically giving it to them.

My personal opinion is that vaccines have been around along time. I have all mine and I'm fine.... my entire family has all of them and they are fine.

I'd rather risk my daughter possibly having Autism and living then having my daughter get a horrible disease and dying.

However, there is no medical evidence to link vaccines with Autism.

I just don't feel like the peds would be telling us to give them if they weren't important. I don't want my boys to catch any of those infectious diseases...even if they can be cured. Why put them through that?!

I don't know many people who don't vaccinate.

I think Emma comes off crazy   I tried to take her serious but Lord help me she over does it.
I keep all my shots up to date becauseI work around ALOT of sick people for 8-16 hrs a day...then come home to my family   So they all are up to date too. I held cass' shots up a month because I thought she'd handle them better at 3 months then 2 and I could treat the fever easier. If a fever happened....which it didn't.

Not all can be cured.
I still think they are trying to link it because it shows up around the same time as some shots....Autism is hard to dx and now with this shot crap it will be even harder. But age 2 is a big time to Dx autism.

It is different for every family.

My son isn't in a daycare. I didn't and still don't see why I need to give him all those vaccines at such a young age when he is with me all day and not exposed to other kids.

Like I said earlier, I will opt to give him the Hep B vaccine and the chicken pox vaccine before he starts school, but not those combination shots, and not when he is 2, 4, and 6 months old.
