I never said clomid was to help carry full term... I said my infertility dr told me about a medication that she would put me on after I became pregnant with clomid!!! Look it up MEDICINE TO HELP CARRY FULL TERM... U WILL FIND

Taking Prednisone to help carry baby to full term or they will give hormone injections to help you carry full term.

Once u are having a miscarriage u cannot stop it but the next time u get pregnant and find out right away ask ur dr about these things. The only way they won't do it is if ur insurance doesn't cover it.

This is all I found in hopes to find this medicine.

This is a cream that you apply, not a pill...

My doctor put me on Progesterone cream after my miscarraige. It helps prepare your uterus and balances your hormones for carrying a child. I'm thinking it helped, since we conceived right after we tried. And it took us a couple years to conceive the first time, so it probably balanced my hormones out right. Ask about it! It is expensive, even with insurance but most likely worth it!!

This is what they give to only women whose blood type clashes with their baby's blood type.... They usually test you for it in the beginning of pregnancy. I believe you are usually Rh-negative, only if you have a certain blood type. I'm not completely sure on the process, as I'm not Rh-negative, but that is what that injection is for and is only used on specific women.

There is actually a lot of controversy about using such cream. I have not seen any facts on it but I hope it helps some people.

Oh, and if you Google 'drugs to prevent miscarraige', then Progesterone is at the top of the list, just to let you know.. So it must be effective for most women.

And I hope it does but miscarriages happen for many reasons and most of the time it is not because of progesterone levels.

There's a lot of controversy on every drug out there! It could have been the cream that helped me, or it could have been the fact that my hormone levels were high from just previously being pregnant. I'm not one for using many prescription drugs now, but when you're at that point, you feel that anything will help your chances of not going through that loss again.. And personally, I would feel 10 times more comfortable and safer with using a cream then with taking a pill!

It's usually impossible for them to tell the cause of a miscarraige, especially an early on one.. As long as the mother is not abusing any substances, or under any major stress/trauma, then it is usually a chromosonal abnormality (some type of deformity) After my MIL had one of her miscarraiges, she realized the baby had spinabifeda, but that was a second trimester miscarraige.... But for recurring miscarraiges, as Syndal has had two, a lot of the time the problem is with the mother's body, hormone levels, or ability to carry.

u r speaking of progestrone(sp?).....that only works if the reason u are not able to carry to term is because of low progestrone. After 3 mc's the doc will usually check for that to see if it may be the reason for the losses.

I know the feeling... Like the last place you want to be is the Dr's office with them checking you out & everything. How's everything going?
