My profile picture

Today I was told that my picture doesn't fit my personality. I have the same picture as my profile on facebook so this was said by someone who knows me pretty well. First off, I have no clue what that means, like how does it not fit me. It's me after all lol. Then they said it's because they see me as shy yet my picture comes off as like I'm overly confident.

Sorry the picture is small. It's from my phone which sucks. Honestly, I was feeling confident that night. I had my make up all done nice, I was single and going out for a night on the town with my friends.

So they're saying if you're shy you're supposed to look like wuuuut?

People can't judge a book by its cover...well, people can't judge a person by their picture, lol.
I think it's silly who ever said that...I see nothing over-confident about the picture. I would just look at it and think you look nice, nothing more. Some people are over critical...or something.

That's what I was thinking. BD said it to me. Idk why and he never really gave me a straight answer. I was like "um, ok?" when he said it didn't look like me because I looked too confident in the picture. I guess he thinks I always think I look down on myself and I'm too shy to think I look good or whatever.

Or he's just jealous and scared that someone will think you're hot.

Well he knows I have a date on Thursday with a guy I work with lol But he tells me constantly that he doesn't want a relationship and he wants me dating other people. Idk why he's like that though.

I have social anxiety. It really only effects me when I have to ask a question or if I have to talk in public or something like that. It's never effected how I am in pictures lol When we were together, I always made him ask questions for me if we were in a store or something. I'd have a panic attack if I tried to.
