Bleeding at 30 Wks...

So the hubby and I just had "happy fun time" and well... I started bleeding! Needless to say we both started to panic!! Lucky for us, my sister-in-lawused to work inpediatrics, so my hubs called her immediately for her input. She advised him to call the hospital and tell them what happened... so he did. The doctor advised us to just keep an eye on it and if the bleeding doesn't cease or if I beginexperiencing crampsthen we should go directly to the ER.

Other than the bleeding, I didn't experience any cramps and the baby has moved a couple of times. I also checked his heart rate w/ my monitor and it was normal (155 bpm). So I guess it looks like I'm in for a long night ladies!   And yes... I'm a nervous fricken wreck!!!!

Out of curiousity, has anyone in their 3rd trimester ever experience something like this!?

I didn't have fun time in my third trimester, but it is normal to bleed alil or spot after having sex, as your uterus is prolly alil irriatitated. I wouldnt worry too much about it, unless things change then go to your ER.

That seriously helps put my mind at ease! Thank u!   The doctor had mentioned to my husband that it could be that or perhaps he had ruptured blood vessels in my vag or something. Meh.   Either way, it looks like this incident has completely scared the crap out of him and he said no more intercourse until 6 weeks after the baby is born.     So it looks like my jaw will be hurting! HA!!!

LOL trust me after baby is here he won't be getting any Jaw or Hand action unless its his own , as you be too tired for sex

yea it happened to me my midwife says after sex some of the capillaries probably popped and thats what caused the spotting! lol

It happened to me Wednesday night. The hubby and I had some happy time too, lol. After we were done there was a lot of blood so I called labor and delivery and she told me to get a glass of juice and then lay down. If I don't feel the baby move within an hour or if the bledding doesn't stop to come in. I felt her move but the bledding didn't stop. Once I got to L&D I was having contractions and was already 1 cm dilated. They stopped my contractions and my belly is really hard now. But I feel her move all the time and I'm just taking it easy like the doctor told me to. So just take it easy and if you feel any cramping I would go in. Good luck!

Yesterday i had sex for the very first time (since i found out i was pregnant in Sept.) and i didn't bleed. I was very careful not to rush things. You know the quicky fcuking so i made sure it wouldn't hurtplus had multiple orgasms, Supposesively you can have contractions after an orgasm but thank god everything was fine.

LoL!! I bet he wasn't!! I'm hoping he wouldn't turn that down!! My boo definitely wouldn't!!

Do you have placenta previa-they told me that you might bleed if you do-i have it-it's not covering my whole uterus-just a little but tey said i could bleed-so far no bleeding-i have another ultra sound in july to see if it has moved out of the way!
