Lump on child's head. Help?

My daughter has a pea sized red lump on her forehead. Its hard. I don't know if I should call the doctor. I am a first time mom and it seems like I call them once a week about something. The lump doesn't bother her. But it its pretty hard. And there is another one, almost as hard on the side of her head. Any idea what it could be?

they could be lymph nodes
are the bumps visable or do you have to feel for them?
do they feel superficial?

Its right on her forehead. It does feel superficial. Just right under the skin. Very hard though.

SPIDER BITES!!!!

Took DD to the doctor today. Said it was spider bites. OMG. I feel so bad, I almost didn't take her because I thought I was being dramatic about it.

Yes, doctor prescribed something and she never was bothered by the bumps to begin with. I honestly don't know how she got bit. I am so glad that I took her to the doctor. I was going to ignore it because we just moved and started with a new doctor and I have seriously taken DD 4 times in 2 months.
