i am 31 weeks pregnant & got this stabbing pain in my vagina & i feel like i got to pee but everytime i go i can't. ahh is this normal?

sounds like a uti call the doctor and tell them if it is a uti it can send you into early labor

Although stabbing vag pain can be normal, sometimes it's baby kicking/punching your cervix, other times it's your symphysis pubis joint separating.
But needing to pee and not being able to definitely sounds like a UTI.

Then your medication course probably wasn't long enough and didn't completely get rid of it. Lame.  

iee been getting these since 6 weeks pregnant. so i been on the pills what feels like non stop since   that is pretty gay! i can't wait till this baby is out so my body can go back to normal  

had the same problem in the beginning of the 2nd trimester , and im lucky if he gives me a break from kicking my cervix,or putting pressure on my bladder now , totally normal im 36 weeks today and its gotten alot worse .. but definetly talk to your dr. most likely they will tell you its cervix   good luck

whats making me nervous was baby has not been very active today then i start getting this pain...

then definetly call your dr, making sure the baby is fine is #1 , youd be amazed how many times ive been in the hospital with this pregnancy ,and then sent home because i was just scared of the normal prego pains lol ... girl its better for you to just go in and get checked  youll feel a whole lot better hearing that nothing is wrong and it is all normal lol

I have been like that since i was 25 weeks pregnant and am now 35 weeks. Doctor told me that it is very normal especially if it is not your first pregnancy. They told me that it is strechting and growing. #good luck

im 36 weeks tomorrow and have been having those stabbing pains since about 30weeks too. When I have them its so sharp that I have to stop in the middle of walking. the doctor doesnt say much about them just that it could be from the baby dropping and it stretching ligaments and cervix. They check my urine all the time and its never cause i have a UTI its just regular pregnancy stuff. Just make sure your letting your doc know about these pains. With mine have come extreme back and hip pain. Im already dialated to 1 so it could have something to do with dialating. Hang in there everything will be fine.

Sounds like you are the proud owner of a UTI infection. Call your doc. They will want to see you, do a urine drip, and give you antibiotics. A UTI untreated can cause pre-term labor and easily turns into a kidney infection...feel better soon!

NO it was NOT a uti....
it was a bladder infection. guess thats pretty close though
thanks for thhe opinions what the heck is a urine drip ne how? lol never had to do one of those in my life!

Did stever put you on cipro or machrobid(sp)? I got to pee in a cup today. Its going to come back contaminated because thanks to dr. dip smurf Vega I get pee a normal stream. Hoping next week we can get my first ultrasound scheduled.

for the bladder infection i have right now that caused this pain, i got ampicilllion....

for all my utis i had in the past they gave me macrobid
