I've said this before on a different thread, a bladder infection is a UTI. Your bladder is part of your urinary tract. An infection in any part of your urinary tract, from your urethra to your kidneys, is a urinary tract infection. I don't know why people don't understand this.

yes the lower part of a uti is a bladder infection... its not the whole urinary tract system thats why they refer to it as a bladder infection..

& the upper part of a uti is a kidney infection.... it again is not the whole urinary tract system thats why its refered to as a kidney infection.

my whole urinary tract system was not all messed up just the lower part which in means would be a bladder infection..

A uti may only involve the lower part or upper part... in my case its just the upper part so no its not a uti it would be a bladder infection. which case you would be telling me i also have a kidney infection which is an upper uti.. at which i do not have one. just saying they are simmilar but not the exact same.
