Nope, actually Evangelical Christians are a huge political force in the country right now, and they coined the term pro-life. Like they are the only people that want life. Pro-Potential dosent work either lol Most people that I know that are pro-chioce woudl never get an abortion themselves but dont feel like it is up to them to inflict their beliefs on others...truley Pro-chioce. How about pro-choice and anti-choice? Thats what it really is.

It all depends on how it would actually pan out. I see way too many crushed kitties in the roads, or people who brutally kill animals for overpopulating their neighborhoods. I would never want an animal to live out it's life in a tiny cage, but I would rather shell out the twenty bucks for a no-kill shelter than just toss them into a shelter that will possibly execute them somewhere in the near future.

Trust lme, I would LOVE all no-kill shelters. Unfortunately with the amount of animals that we have in the US without homes its impossible. If we could just get the overpoplulation problem under control with spaying and nuetering, then no-kill shelters would become more of a reality. The few-no-kill shelters around my home are amazing, but they cannot handle the full burdon of all the homeless animals, most still have to go to the county shelter which has a rate of killing 65% of all animals that enter its door.

I think that if people are willing to participate in sexual intercourse they should also be willing to deal with the 'consequences' of said actions. Not that I consider a child a burden, but there are more options than killing them. I can't imagine looking at someone around me and wondering what it would be like if their mother's had just decided they didn't want to have a child. Not because they were raped, or had a fatal heart condition, but because they just weren't ready (yet were willing to risk it anyway). I can't imagine that person being either cut up into pieces and vacuumed out, burned to death, or have their skulls shattered and brains drained. The thing is...that baby could be ANYONE! A murderer, maybe. Or a friend, a relative, a lover, a wonderful person, someone that could change the world for the better. Tons of families, healthy ones that aren't potential for Law And Order episodes, are willing to take in children when they can't produce one of their own. An open adoption will allow you to check on that child's development, make sure they're in a good environment. I can understand some cases, but not wanting to lose your figure? That's not worth destroying a fetus.

Which is precisely why they have so much room. Too bad they don't have some sort of No-Kill Super Shelter. 

I hate denying my cats freedom, but I love having them indoors. It saves them a lot of trouble they would encounter.

I understand that, I am not saying that you shouldnt be anti-abortion, I am pointing out the irony in the terms. If you truely feel that no woman should be allowed to have an abortion, then fine. I can get that arguement. I just happen to belive it is not my place, or the governments place especially, to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body.

All 3 of my cats are indoor only. I wouldnt dare let them out, outdoor cats have a much shorter life expectancy thanindoor cats. We wont even think of adopting cats out to people who will put them outside either. Pets should be in the house  

I woudl love a super no kill shelter, the money is just not there for it. The best example out there is Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. It is the best place on the planet, you should google it.

I know, I was just putting my opinion out there as well. I figure that abortion will be fully legalized at some point in time anyway. If women are desperate enough, they will resort to metal coat hangers and throwing themselves down the stairs. It's only a matter of time until the government figures it's safer to have it done professionally.

I really cannot understand what you just said there....

I am saying that having litter upon lietter of kittens directly leads to misery for your cat and the death of many many animals. All animal welfare groups in this country and amny others agree with me. But if you dont want to listen I cant make you. What I am doing IS saving animals. I pull them off death row and place them in good homes. There is no doubt in that.

this was my cats 1st litter..so i dont know where ur getting shes had litter upon litter..shes only 2 1/2 years old.
