I would rather not get involved with family problems but I think if the photo was posted on one account then taken the original poster has a problem the photo should be removed. If they post there own photo then there would be no question that it is well within there rights.

It was not her own photo. It was a photo her friend took off of the other girl's facebook and gave to the stepmom. That's where the issue lies. But it's all kinda moot now.
