Quoting hai: its worked fine for me..currently not taking itIt gave no side effects to me. but then again eveyone ... [snip!] ... but then again eveyone is different i suppose. What about the patch? Its simple and you dont have to worry about forgetting...
Quoting ~Preggers~: Aw that sucks, Im sorry! So do you plan on changing methods though as soon as you can?
Quoting ~Preggers~: So my doctor gave my a sheet with different types of birth control and he said to review them and to ... [snip!] ... the procedure. Drawbacks: 3 month waiting periodafter the procedure during which women must use another birth control.
Quoting hai: I use seasonique. Its working. And i heard merina doesnt feel comfy too lolYou cant feel it, I have and LOVE it.
Quoting corrosiveheart: I'm getting an IUD inserted in 2 weeks. I've heard from a few people that they'll felt uncomfortable ... [snip!] ... your milk supply. Over here everyone is told that they CAN'T receive any birth control with hormones if they're breastfeeding.
Quoting brittany2004: I'm using the nuva-ring...it's NOT comfy....and I can't afford to go get another kind right now...be very careful got pregnant on the NUVARING lol, and yeah its not comfy also when you have sex your partner feels it. from what i heard from my bf it hurts like hell
Quoting CatLuvr83: I may have joined too late, but I have Mirena and it did not hurt at all to go in. It's also estrogen-free so you want to breastfeed it shouldn't/won't effect your breastmilk.
Quoting MamaKelz: I use micronor 28 days its a birth control for breastfeeding mothers I just recently got my 1st pp period and started using it..
Quoting ~Preggers~: No you're not too late Im still open for replies! I really did want to try mirena but since I heard ... [snip!] ... I really don't know it's so hard especially b/c I would like to breastfeed and I didn't know that some BC could have an effect.
Quoting CatLuvr83: I know what you mean. My neighbor got it and told me it hurts like a mofo going in and that she got ... [snip!] ... I got it done and it went fine. That, and, it's a good 5yr option for someone breastfeeding. You should opt for it imo.
yes...it sucks...I never put mine back in last month, but I'm not really worried about it. I was only using it just in case something happened...my child has special needs and I just don't have time for sex or guys
Quoting Ms.Victoria: be very careful got pregnant on the NUVARING lol, and yeah its not comfy also when you have sex your partner feels it. from what i heard from my bf it hurts like hell
