My daughter is 4 Months old and has slept in our bed from the day she came home from the hospital but its time for her to start sleeping in her own bed!! What is the best way to move her into her own bed? Any ideas I can try??

Does she nap in a crib? Are you open to letting her cry it out?

You mean crib? When she's falling asleep, put her in her crib and rock her while you're singing to her. That way she'll feel as if she's sleeping next to you.

I made the mistake of letting my first sleep in my bed...that was 3 years ago lol. What ever you do try to stop it now...or you will have a 3 year old in your bed. I tried letting mine cry it out (and stopped that because she would cry so hard it would make her sick and she would throw up like linda blair), I tried rocking her in her room to get her used to being in there and then when she fell asleep putting her in her crib, I tried just putting her in her crib while i sat in her room so she knew I was there, and I tried letting her fall asleep with me then putting her in her crib. Nothing really worked for me but I have to admit I could have been more stern. I have my own reasons or justifications if you will but I am making darn sure this time around with my son I dont make the same choice. So far so good. Good luck

I am ok with letting her cry it out but only to a certain point because I tried the other night and my husband who can listen to cry started feeling bad so we are trying another way now I hope we find something that works for her... We have done 2 nights in a row with her in her bed!! So far so good
