This thread will be used in conjunction with the Top Photographer contest rounds for updates, contest round links, scoring, and so on. Please keep chatter contest related. Thank you.

ROUNDS:
There will be 10 rounds for this contest. Once you enter the first round you are committing yourself to the remainder of the contest. There will be no new contestants after the first round.

Each round will be open for a maximum of 1 week start to finish. Saving is okay but please be considerate of others and try not to hold up the contest. If you do not make it in time before voting begins you will receive 0 points for that round.

Round 1: Black & White - 8/11/12
Round 2: Animals - 8/13/12
Round 3: Sunset/Sunrise - 8/17/12
Round 4: People - 8/25/12
Round 5: Flowers - 9/3/12
Round 6: Random Objects (NONLIVING Things) - 9/9/12
Round 7: Macro/Close-up Shots - 9/14/12
Round 8: Scenic - 9/21/12
Round 9: Weather/Seasons - 9/29/12
Final Round: Contestant's Choice - 10/5/12

RULES:
One photo only unless specified otherwise.
Minor editing OKAY (Exposure, Cropping, Etc.)
You can not use the same photo twice for another round.
Photos must have been taken by you.
Does not need to be recent. Take them today or last year, either is fine.
Stick with the theme.


VOTING:
No asking for personal votes.
You may solicit the contest/round via Announcements.
Votes will be kept private.
You will be allowed to vote for yourself.


SCORING:
Scoring will be based on how many contestants there are. If there are 9 contestants the winner of the round will receive 9 points. If you miss a round or unable to participate in a particular round for whatever reason you will get 0 points. No one will be eliminated.

Sorry if this is confusing. This is the first time I've done a contest like this.

The 10 rounds in OP are not set in stone. I'm open to suggestions.

No, just one round for B&W, however if your photo meets the theme for one of the others rounds and is in B&W you can use it. But you can only use the photo once. Each round you must use a different photo.

And which round should it replace?

Yes! Replace insects! God I can't get near those things, besides the insect shot can be used macro shot
