I need a Buddy!

Hello, I've been exploring this site for a couple days now, but I still haven't figured out quite how it works. I would really like to connect with people who are going through some of the same things I am, especially since I have become more and more isolated from my friends. It seems like it's a lot harder to spend time with the carefree people who used to seem like a lot of fun. Now it seems like all they do is drink every other night. I'm feeling pretty lonely. Anyone else have this problem???

I had the exact same thing happen to me when i found out i was pregnant.. I was a party girl, and thats ALL my friends and i did was drink and smoke... Now that I'm not doing that, I find it pretty difficult to hang out with them anymore and they don't seem as interested to hang out with me... just remember that the people that really matter are the ones that want to be friends with you no matter what and support you all the way through it... I guess this is the time that you'll find out who your true friends really are!

That's all most of my friends do anymore is drink and I have my son and another on the way and so I don't ever hangout with my friends, that's why I live on myspace and baby-gaga so I can listen to something besides Alcohol. ugghhh...anyways I'm due December 5th, write if you'd like!!

ya i was in the same boat when i was pregnant.....everyone kinda ditched me except my donald (gay bestie) but now that i had her and im married and my husband makes good money oh they are all about calling again seein if i wanna hang out.....nope sorry...i like hangin with my daughter and my husband and my donald and thats it....a few other people actually but i hang wit other moms now

Yea me and my fiance are going throught the same thing we use 2 have so much fun hanging out and now that im pregnant i dont really wanna do those things anymore but im trying 2 keep him happy. Things are getting hard.

I'm Shari [18] & I have a 16 month old daughter named Audree Marie . Trust me I know what it's like to feel isolated from everyone . When I got pregnant I lost most to all of my friends & still to this day I have only got a few really good friends who come see me & my daughter regularly .
Trust me this just goes to show you who your REAL friends are .

your not alone.. i also got pregnant on b/c and i was also a party type girl and then lost all my freiends when i found out i was pregnant. im 17 and 20 weeks pregnant with a little girl!   my boyfriend and i are soo excited .. veery happy despite the fact this was NOT at all planned... but accidents do happen and at the wierdest time to! i love your due dec 20th my b-days dec 22. so really i should be 18 but im almost a year behind everyone (age wise) all my friends (ex friends) are 18 haha  ... so she will share my pain i think!!

Yeah, I know what you mean about being behind. I was born in August, so when I was in school I was always a year behind everyone else in my grade. It definitely has it's benefits, though! I've always been the youngest-in my family, in school, everywhere!
