Having twins, anyone??

Just wondering about what a first time pregnancy is like with twins..

I am not, but congrats!

totally different than my pregnancies with only 1 baby. I had morning sickness for the entire time. When you get farther along it is harder to get around. I felt like a beached whale. my babies were kinda stacked with one on top of the other. So baby B was really high she stayed under my ribs and they were so sore. My skin on my stomach became so stretched thin that it itched all the time but hurt if anything touched it. I used baby lotion, it seemed to help the itching better than coco butter. I went into labor at 33 weeks and 3 days. the doctor put me on Breathiane (sp?) it helped slow the contractions but my whole body would shake. It stopped working after 2 weeks so at 35 weeks I was but on Nephapine (sp) it gave me horrible headaches and I swelled really bad with it. I delivered the twins at 36 weeks 1 day. Baby A was a boy he weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and 19.75 in. and baby B was a girl she weighed 5lbs 7 oz and was 18.5 in. They are very health babies and never had to stay at the NICU or anything!

Didn't seem very different at the beginning but now that im going into my third trimester I feel like I did at the end of my pregnancy with my first. Twice the pain, twice the excitement, twice the anxiety.

it's the exact same except you get kicked twice as much.

My husband and I are pregnant with twins on our first pregnancy too, and I say "Husband and I" because he's going through everything with me, if not twice as bad. lol. And so far, it's been a pretty easy pregnancy even though I'm only 7 weeks along.

I am 28 weeks with twins however this is my 2nd pregnancy   my first pregnancy was 12 years ago.

twins were my second pregnancy but it wasn't much different. Just twice as much.

Hello, I'm preggo with twins. 15 weeks and 1 day. This is my 2nd pregnancy. With my first I had a boy, and was sick until my 3rd month. Now with the twins, in the beginning i was very nauseous. And it was horrible I couldn't eat a thing. My doctor says I'm having identical twins, so I have to be monitored closely. Congrats on the twins and best of luck.
