false positive!?

I took a one step pregnancy test from walgreens two days after my period was due and it came out positive (I took this in the early afternoon) Then took two more tests later that day one was an equate brand and the other dollar general. They were both negative. Then first thing in the morning today (still no period) I took another dollar store test it was negative. I'm now 3 days passed my period. Im having cramps off and on TMI and am having discharge. I thought I was pregnant but I've had 3 negative tests so that being said I think the Walgreens test gave me a false positive because it was a blue dye test...has this happens to anyone?

I've gotten a false positive on a Clear Blue Digital! It may have been a false positive since you haven't had one since then. Do you have a picture of it?

when I first became pregnant they did a blood test and it was negative. a couple days later I took a standard pee test and it was positive. I went to the dr. and told him what was up. Turns out the medication I was on can cause a false negative. I would go in and have the Dr. check it out. Who knows. First morning pee is the best to use that early, and I've had friends use the equate and dollar general and those didn't work til they were close to 8 weeks pregnant.

if the blue dye was your only positive, then i would tend to believe it was an evap. Was it a solid, thick blue line? Was it a dark line or a light line? If you've had multiple negative tests since, I would say you are not pregnant. Stressing about it will delay your period as well.

I agree with this.

I had a false positive with a blue dye.
stressing can make you late. so can a number of other things. losing weight, gaining weight, new work outs......
