I was interested in this until I went to Youtube and saw how they place it in and remove it. I personally don't think I could do it! But to each her own.

I got my implanon october 16, 2012, I've had it for almost 4 months now. The first month I had no spotting, no symptoms at all. But recently since December, I've been having pain at the site where implanon was inserted, nothing big just a faint stinging sensation, hard to explain the feeling. If anyone has questions feel free to ask  

I had implanon from April of 2011 to February of 2012. I had intermittent spotting the entire time, but nothing too bad. I gained about ten pounds even though I hadn't changed anything about my diet. My libido DIED. My skin was great while I was on it, but I was pretty moody the entire time. I also ended up with a huge ovarian cyst that ended up rupturing. The doctor said it COULD have been caused by the implanon, but the jury is out on that.
Over all, on a scale from one to ten, I probably give my experience on it a five: not awful, but just not for me.
