Low weight gain!! ;(

posted 11th Aug '12
At my doctors appointment, they took my weight 111 pounds!
My first visit too the doctors at four weeks pregnant I was 104 pounds. And now at 32 weeks pregnant I am only at 111 pounds, I am so worried that I'm not gaining enough weight, even though I have been eating any and everything, even alot of starchy foods thinking that it'd help me gain some weight. But NO! I don't want my daughter too be tooo small, even though my belly is bigger then what I was over due with my 1st daughter.
And for the doctor too tell me I shouldn't worry? It's like how is that not something too worry.
He said my weight is probably just going to her. & will come out a big baby because her heart beat sounds great!

Any mom's ever had this happen before?

6-8lbs is an average sized baby. If your doctor doesn't seem concerned there isn't anything to worry about. I know a woman that is naturally short and petit. She gained 6lbs during her pregnancy and her son was 6lbs even when born.

I gained a whopping 10 lbs last pregnancy and delivered a healthy 8.5 lb baby. Eat healthy, stay active and it'll be fine

I only gained 6 lbs with DD and she weighed 8lbs 5oz at birth. Unless you are measuring way to small you should not worry. She is taking what she needs from you. You will have lost weight as she gained so it kind of equals out in the end.
