postpartum periods?

I started my first actual period again a little after my son turned 6wks.
He just turned 13 weeks today & I've had like 3 & 1/2 periods.
(I say half because I've been bleeding a little the last couple days but barely any)
My last period was 7 days!
Is this normal?

First of all, let me just say that you're lucky you only bled for 6 weeks [i bled off and on for 5 months] and my periods did the same thing. i had three in one month and then bled so badly during another that i went to the er [i was soaking a pad an hour] and they just said it was my hormones trying to get back in checl.

Did you breast feed? I heard that makes you bleed alot longer.
I tried & He got nipple confused in the hospital  

How long until your periods went back to normal?

That's when I started my first PP period, when my daughter was 6 weeks.
But I've yet to have another one!

I strictly breastfeed and bled for less than 2 weeks and haven't bled since and my daughter is a little over 2 months.

I breastfeed for the first three months, and it does make you bleed longer. And it takes longer for your periods to start because bfing acts as a natural birth control. even now my periods are acting kinda funny [im 7 months pp] but it took maybe 5 1/2 months before it went back to one period a month. but now, even between periods, im bleeding off and on. not a lot, just enough to be annoying. lol

This one is annoying that I'm on now.
It's like I bleed a good amount, so I put a tampon in.. Take it out & There's nothing on it so I don't put another in then I bleed. I've been through so many panties the last few days >.<
