So excited!!!

I found a Medela Pump InStyle Advanced breat pump on Craigslist for $100 and the lady only used it for 6 months and lives right down the street from me!! I'll be getting new tubing, shields, and membranes for sanitary reasons, but I feel like such a bargain shopper because I also just got her carseat (Graco MyRide 65) for $120 so I've saved like $250 on both of those! Then I got 3 Carter's newborn outfit sets that were originally $20 for each set, for $8.99 each on tax free weekend....

I wouldn't buy the pump. that is just me!! As for the carseat, do you know if it was in an accident? What is the exp date?

I agree. I was told not to buy a used one or one that your older child used (if we still had it) because they expire and you never know what that car seat has been through.

My last pump was a used Medela and it was fine and t was even an older model. The only thing I would be concerned about is mold by the motor but I'm going to look at it and plug it in and everything tomorrow before I commit to buying it. And buying all the accessories new.

The carseat is brand spankin new   from Amazon

That is a great deal on the carseat.

Aside from the mold I would be more concerned that she got it used and is passing it off on you as "barely used".

She included the original receipt in the ad for it, so I'm pretty sure she was the only owner. But like I said I'm going to look at it and inspect it first before committing to purchasing it.

YAY! I hope to get so lucky with a pump. Thats the one i want too! I am totally bargain hunting too I'm on craigslist as we speak lol.
