Peeing every 20 minutes

For the past couple of days DS has been peeing almost every 20 minutes. He is 4 and has been fully pt'd since 2 1/2 and he never has accidents. The other night he didn't go to sleep until midnight from going potty so much. Everytime we've been going out he has to pee at least 3 times. I asked him if his penis or stomach hurts and he says no. His diet hasn't changed so what else could this be?

Would he be in pain? He says nothing hurts at all.
