41 weeks, membranes swept.

I had my membranes swept yesterday and last night was having alot of cramping and had a tiny bit of discharge. This morning I had A LOT of really thick mucus that had blood in it. I've been cramping bad all day haven't noticed anything falling into a pattern yet. Hoping to be in active labor by tonight. Anyone over due have theirs swept and how soon did it work?

Lol, mine worked for me before I had it done.  
My water broke the day I was scheduled to go in.

i have had it done 4 times--twice with my first two (didn't even try it with my third). it didn't work any time. but i have heard of it working for some people. everyone is different. it just depends on how ready your body is. sounds to me like you are making some good progress with it!

They had to do it to me 3 times for it to work and i was already at 5 cm..baby did not want to come out lol
