When we lose someone

My sister Rochelle left this world Dec 30 2006, her and her husband went out one night and a way to much to drink and decided to drive home after the fact sadly their jeep rolled on a sharp corner and she was ejected out the window and was gone instanly, her husband and their dog are still with us.
I found out new years eve, it was the most horrable thing to hear I was always close to her.
She new how much I wanted a baby and how we have been trying for 2 years. The one thing I wanted last year was to atleast be pregnant before the year was over. Well Dec. 10th we found out we were going to have a baby. The crazyest thing about this little baby is that he is due August 13th and Rochelle birthday was August 10th. I am happy to be bringing another leo into the family.
I know there is a saying about how we lose one but gain another, I just cant ever rember how it gose.
But any ways I was wondering if anybody else has a story simaler to this.

i just wanted to tell you that I am so sorry to hear about your loss... but I'm happy to hear your babys birthday is close to your sister... so in a way it helps the memory live on

Yeah, My best friend all though highschool , was also friends with my fiance. He actually introduced us last May 24 weekend. Well he was in a car accident on December 13th of last year, and was killed on inpact. We're due on his death date.

i havnt lost someone really close to me but my son was born on his daddies birthday,(8th) my MIL was born on the 16th, my step son was born on the 17th..all in september andd to top it off my mom is also a virgo born august 28..im surrounded by virgos and think im doomded to deal with their stubbornness and impatience forever..

aw thats so sad. i'm a leo too, so i understand why you want to bring more into the family   they are pretty awesome! lol

i don't have a story like this. at least not yet.

i lost my cousin rebecca on january 2nd of this year.....she LOVED kids and was so good with them. she never had the chance to be a mother. my other cousin, melissa, who was also close to her just had a baby. her poor parents were so shocked when she died they kept hoping that melissa's baby would be her reincarnated. i haven't had the chance to meet the new baby yet. it would be nice if she was similar to rebecca though. such a great personality! so full of life!

My mil passed away Nov. 5 2005 A few months later I found out I was pregnant. My mil wanted my husband and me to have another baby but my son was already 8 and we were not sure we wanted more. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted more and I knew it would be a girl. I went to the docs and got my due date and it was Nov. 5 2006. A month later I miscarried. I ended up pregnant again at the end of Nov 2006 and in Aug. 2007 I gave birth to my daughter Kailey who reminds me so much of my mil.

We lost my only brother..only sibling on April 1 ( we dont do april fools day anymore) Due to a roll over car accident where he had his seat belt on and rolled with the car...the driver was ejected and lived!
I found out I was pregnant on April 2...a few years later. I know he is looking down on us...and made sure we where blessed with twins
It was and is very very very hard to deal with!!
You never heal..you just deal

I'm so sorry for your loss, but maybe she can live on through your baby  

I have something similar, not quite but ill share it anyways. My sister had lost a baby and it was due August 9th, which is my birthday. Now she is pregnant again and is doing real good; She's due on August 9th again   I know it's not the same thing, but the first baby is still a loss...

My mom's DD with me was 8-8-88 and now this baby has a chance to be born on 8-8-08! Geez I hope thing bad happens to me because of this.

I think it is just insane how some things happen. It is nice to feel like there is a reason for the way things happen in life.

So sorry for your loss, it's very sad. I don't knowwhat i do if something happen to my sisters, they are my life. Hope you find peace with your new little one comming.

crazy about the coincidences. Cosmic signs that our souls never die. i have had a lot of family members die in the past five years or so and i have also had signs. in the form of smoke detectors, stove timers, lights, phones, plants, etc.

while i was going thru chemo i got really close to this boy eduardo.He was like my lil brother (i was 17 he was 13) .we were allways in the hospital together and we had both had the same kind of cancer.. well 2004 his cancer came back.we had lost touch for a while but when he relapsed we became even closer. in june of 2005.he passed away.. the hardest thing i ever did was tell him it is ok (he kept asking me to help him) 2 weeks later i found out i was pregnant adn 4 months later i found out i was having a boy..

i allways thought it was funny cuz when he first found out he had relapsed he would tease and tell me when he dies he was gonna find away to come back and bug me and play tricks on me lol
