Moms of 4-5 year olds?

Do your kiddos whine a lot? Do they throw tantrums if they dont get their way? Is this just a phase? Seems like since hes turned 4 the whining has picked up!

  Im exhausted my the end of the day. I feel like i repeat myself over and over and over again lol.

My little guy is amazing and very smart. So he will ask me 10 million questions a day. I also have to acknowledge everything he says or he will repeat himself till he gets the answer hes looking for.

yes. My twins are 4. They are testing every limit, challenging everything I say and throwing tempertanrums. They never did it as babies and they are MORE than making up for it now. It is all about them figuring out their place. This is where it is very important to reign them in or you lose them.

My 3 year old is exactly like that and i've heard it only gets worse at 4..

By the end of the day i'm so sick of the whining. It drives me crazy, it's like ALL she does is whine lately.

DS is 4, will be 5 in Oct. He's currently in the phase but it's starting to get better day by day, very slowly. He has his good days and his bad, but he's beginning to learn that throwing fits and tantrums will not get him what he wants. He does the repeating thing too. God forbid you don't acknowledge him immediately! It's a lot of work trying to keep up with him! lol

My 4 year old does whine a lot and definitely does the thing with the repeating. She loves to pull the whole "mom, mom, mom" thing, especially when I'm busy with her sister and won't quit until I say something to her. She asks tons of questions too and I try to answer them all (I love smart phones for this because I can get to google quick lol) but it does get rather tiring after awhile. She doesn't throw temper tantrums too often, but on occasion she'll get mad enough that she'll storm to her room and slam the door.
Being a mommy is DEFINITELY hard. I never realized how much patience I actually have in me until I became a parent. Lol.

Novali just turned 5. Today she almost fell into the toilet and I laughed and she "angry" screamed (not high pitched like hurt, but more like low like pissed off growl) at the top of her lungs at me and smacked me. She has NEVER hit me since she learned not to hit. I was shocked.

I've been punishing her and being consistent. It's not as bad as used to be.

Dd is 5 and she just talks and talks and talk and talks til I wanna beat myself in the head. By 5:00 the sound of her voice irritates me to death. I love her to death but omg..

omg yes.. DS is the same way. I'm like "shut up already!" in my head.. but I could never say anything like that to my sweet boy's face.. Patience.. lots and lots of patience!

ugh YES! Anna is doing the same crap and shes driving me INSANE! ESPECIALLY with having the new baby. Good GOD I just want quiet for 5 freaking MINUTES! lol

Nope.....my 4 yr old is the least whinniest kid ever.....My friends dd is 4 and whines constantly all day long anytime you tell her no she whines, you tell her to wait a minute she whines. I hate it when they visit..my 4 yr old is always asking why she whines like a baby lol
My dd knows better then to whine at anytime. I dont tolerate whinning at all. But I dont have to worry cause all my kids are quiet kids and take no better then most adults lol.
But I believe its a phase for most kids, I wouldnt worry about it.
