We bought it so we have to pay a mortgage which is usually higher than rent but it is about 1,400 a month.

that's not too bad. that's about how much rent is here for a 2bedroom trailer, haha.

Yeah rent around here is pretty bad too. Its about 1,000-1,200 a month for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. We went ahead and bought a house instead of renting because I would rather have our money going towards something instead of jsut throwing it away never to be seen again. At least if we own it we will get the money back, and with the way the market is right now in a few years we will probably get more than what we bought it for.

goodness yal''s rent is high. Our first hourse -2 br 2 bath trailer- in MS was only $600 a month. utilities included. now we live in baton rouge, and it's only 1100 for a 3br 3 bath house (we rent a room to my brother in law)! Yall must have had a lot saved up for a 1400 month rent, when he's making 200/ week! I make 500/week and it's hard to pay a $800/month rent. but we have to pay bills and not to mention gas!!

nopee! no other family. and yeah, since his sister works at home... she is going to watch veronica while we're at school. we're going to work out different work schedules so we take turns watching her while the other works.

It is definatly the perfect time to buy! Houses are cheaper than ever, and hopefully the market will be going back up soon, and by the time we are ready to sell it will be pretty up there.

We pretty much had just enough saved up. It is definatly scary. He is a hairstylist though, and he just got on the floor. He will be making waaaaay more soon, he just has to build up his clientele.

i wish we could buy a house!!
we dont wanna yet though because we want our next house to be a long time investment and we dont want to stay in FL you know?

hahahahah! I hate VA and would love to be in FL. Its funny how that works.
