Not happening.

Since I've been pregnant DH has been acting weird toward my family. I didn't think much of it until yesterday when I told him my brother wanted LO tonight. He got an attitude over it that lasted 4 hours. So I asked him to explain to me what the deal is. Well he comes off with the fact that he hates my family and they hate him too and now that I'm pregnant he's done holding his tongue. WTF. My family loves him and they treat him really well, I had no idea DH hated them. So with that I told him that I didn't care how he felt about my family because they are and will always be my family. I let him know that he wouldn't be keeping me or the kids away from them.

So now DH is planning to move back to his mother's house and leave me and LO here. I honestly don't feel like playing his damn game and I'm going to just let him go. I don't know what got into him but I know that he's not going to cut me off from my family.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Happened with my SO before we moved in with my mom. I told him to go smurf himself but later, as it turns out, my family had said out of line things to him & judged him behind my back

I'd be more understanding if that were the case but my family doesn't keep it a secret if they don't like someone. He kind of just pulled all of this out of his ass.

Anything stressful been going on lately? maybe hes the one with the secret. that would explain an odd outburst like that. I would think that if he had a problem with them before that he'd have said SOMETHING! Ya know? Anything showing he wasn't a big fan of them but to randomly accuse them of what you know to be false shows hes looking for a target to take his insecurities on when in all reality it probably doesn't have anything to do with them.

it kinda sound like he is making an excuse for something, I would let him leave, that wouldnt fly with me!

What the Moses? That sounds iffy... like there HAS to be more to the story or something that he's not sharing.

Personally, my family disowned me and my fiance has never met them so who cares. They're nowhere near us or in our lives. His family I've met and have issues with certain biological family members but he's aware of it. He may not know all the details and may get upset but it didn't come falling out the sky or anything out of nowhere.

I'd not play into his little mind games and when he's ready to grow up and come to you with whatever it is then you can choose to listen or whathaveyou and work it out. Or not.
