Braxton Hicks

Is it normal for at 24 weeks (about six months) to be getting several, and I mean SEVERAL braxton hicks a day? I know this is what they are because my mothers been an RN for over 20 years and worked labor and delivery for many of those. I have at least ten a day! But Im just being a normal paranoid preggo and was wondering if I'm still healthy and my babys ok!

Yeah you are actually getting them your whole pregnancy but most women can't feel a lot of them so they don't know they are having so many. I am right there with you as one of the women who feels hers. I also get about 10 a day and I am 26 weeks tomorrow.

I started having them around that time. To get rid of them, drink a lot of water and lay down. That's what worked for me, along with Tylenol PM.
