Stations

Can someone explain this "station" buisness to me? I don't get! I have read conflicting articles about it as well, so I have no idea what a -1 is or a 0 or what. Can someone please give me some insight?

i posted this last night and some people posted pictures so hopefully itll help..its just when the babies head moves farther into the canal and cervix.

Ok thanks that helps alot. I was at -1 last thursday, so I am curious if I have made progress!

yeah i was a -2 last tuesday and yesterday i was a 0 so hes moving down..

Yeah last thursday, I was at 2 cm dilated, 60% effaced and -1... I PRAY I have some freaking progress... I am so miserable.

thats how i felt cause last tuesday like i said i was -2 and 3cent dialated70%effaced and this thursday (yesterday) i was STILL 3cent but 90%effaced in station 0 so im hoping to pop soon!..lol

IDK about the rest of them, but When I was a -2, the nurse told me that normally the baby's roaming in Canada, but now he's down in North Carolina lol.

Why thank you!   So far some irregular contractions and some bad cramps... how annoying.

exactly! nothing that is even worth going in about or even telling the doc cause all they say is "its normal!" makes me mad ill be miserable like 10 hours a day but nothing that is even worth timing.....its BS...lol
