You may want to see when the off-season is if you're worried about when it's most cost efficient to go. No matter what, it'll be WONDERFUL!

We went to cancun around october, and it was still really warm. I actually got a sunburn. I know that that is not the same place, but it is sort of the same climate. Watch out for those hurricanes though!

I would suggest a cruise. They are awesome and not as expensive as you might think. You can pick one with 3 or 4 ports and get to see some great spots. I have went in November a couple of times and in March and everytime the weather was excellent.

I'm going on a cruise in November for my honeymoon and it includes going to Mexico, Honduras, Beliz, and the Bahamas. It was booked pretty far in advance and only cost about $400 a person. That may be a great break before baby #2.

Try January after the holidays. That's when I've always gone on "tropical" vacations and they are usually pretty cheap.

Cruises are awesome. I'm a fan of Royal Caribbean. They are targeted for an older crowd, so you don't have a ton of teenagers/20-somethings running around being obnoxious...

Good lord, I'm old. haha

My husband and I did a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas with Royal Carribbean. And I agree about it being more of an adult crowd. There were hardly any teens onboard.
We left from Miami, then stopped at Nassau, RC's private island, and then Key West.
We went at the end of June though, so it was pretty busy and very hot!
