im not completely sure, but they said my son was 8lbs 3oz, and he was born at 7lbs 3oz. maybe it was a fluke

They can be off, they aren't necessarily though. My midwife said there's a 10% margin of error.

With my oldest I was a week late. They wouldn't even consider induction because the ultrasound measurements showed he was less than 6lbs. Well he was born at 8lbs 4oz and I must admit I was a little more than annoyed.

That's a good weight though. I hope my son is a good healthy weight. I don't think's too big.
