If this is how you people act to others, then there are probably people out there treating your kids like this. Do you really want that for your children? I expected more out of older people! I've always been told that people have to yearn your respect, but you are supposed to respect your elders. That if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. Treat others how you want to be treated. Seeing as most of you are older then me, I expected you all to have grown up with those as well! I've always heard it from my grandparents and teachers at school! So if I heard it in the 90's, you all must have heard it in the 80's, 70's, 60's (whatever year you mostly grew up in) plus more about respecting others. Someone who grows up learning those would be expected to use them! if this is how you act online, it must be even worse for the people who know you in rl.
