Pre-natal Vitamins

My vitamins used to in the first tri-mesester didnt bother me at all, but now that im in the second they make me sick every time even when i take it with some food it still makes me throw up or really sick to my stomach. Any suggestions?

I take the prenatal gummies.

Take them at night before you go to bed. I've been taking them since day 1 and they always made me nauseated in the morning, so I switched to night and it's been wonderful lol

Im a ftm also and i was in the same situation ! i took them in the morning and they made my stomach upset :/ try taking them at night ! thats what i did and it made it a little better !! i also heard they get into the babies system better at night ! not sure if its true thoo !!

I have another question its about constipation. Im on colace i take it twice a day an ive tried raisins, prunes, prune juice, an nothing seems to help. It gets to the point where my side is swelled an my lower left side of stomach is so tender i cant touch it.

I took Mira-lax powder when I would get like that. Colace is only a stool softener, it only makes it easier when you go. You can call your doctor and see what they allow but I know a lot of women who have taken Mira-lax or another form of laxative. If it gets too bad, you might have to get an enema to help it out lol And taking them at night should help. I don't take them until I am walking to our bed otherwise I get a horrible headache that lasts about 45 minutes.
