I need some serious help/advice

I've had a UTI for a week. I've been taking my antibiotics. I've been drinking nothing but water and pure cranberry juice. I'm just so over it. I just went through a severe m/c and I just can't catch a break. I'm at my witts end. What can I do? All I want to do is cry. On top of everything I'm taking a probiotic and some kind of extract that's suppose to help too. Nothing I'm doing is working );

I would prob go visit dr again and see if they can switch antibiotic I know Dd had a bladder infection and come to find out the first antibiotic they put her on, the bacteria present was resistant to it so until they gave her new meda she just got worse, GL mama those suck!! Hope you feel better soon

Perhaps a different antibiotic would work.

Before I found out I was pregnant with my first, I had a UTI, went to the clinic and they took my urine (the doctor was surprised it was so light, but I had been drinking a lot of water and cranberry juice to try to help get rid of it). They gave me antibiotics and told me that they'd send the results of the test to my doctor. The antibiotics did get rid of my symptoms but didn't get rid of the infection (I found out a couple months later and was given the right antibiotics for that infection by my midwives). My doctor never bothered to look at the results to see if the antibiotics that were prescribed were the right ones to treat the infection I had  .

I still have all my symptoms. I've had to call out of work last week like twice because I could barely stand up. The only thing that was helping was laying down. There's nothing they can prescribe for pain either can thry? It's so bad I'd rather never pee at all. I swear I have to every five seconds. It sucks so bad. Thanks ladies. I'll be going back to the walk in clinic after this long ride I'm about to drive.

I think you can still use that azo standard it's an OTC med that will turn your pee orange but that helps burning/pain a little and you can try Tylenol or ibuprofen too

Have you picked up any AZO? That will take the burn and frequency away. You will also need to switch antibiotics. In the meantime drink 8oz of water mixed with a tsp of baking soda 1-3 times daily. It cleanses your kidneys and bladder, and is what a homeopathic doctor will tell you to do.

Hey love, I definitely recommend getting AZO at the store. Like everyone else has said, you should also go ahead and give your doctor a call. They might need to change which antibiotic you are on and if you are in that much pain they might be able to give you something for that as well. Okay ladies. I went to the clinic. I got a shot in the ass. You girls were right, it shows that the antibiotics I had been taken are not working. I got prescribed something better and I also got some pain medicine. I'm so relieved. I've been in so much pain ugh. I have to go back in the am to have an ultrasound on my kidneys. I'm glad I went to the doctors though.

Glad to hear this hun! Let me know how the ultrasound goes. I've had problems with kidney infections on and off since I was about 15. I can almost time them out perfectly because I get them exactly about every 2 1/2 year which puts me on edge because I'm coming up on that point. I end up having to be hospitalized at least 2 days and the last time it was 4 and she only let me go home because I begged her because I was missing my little man so much! Love you.
