drink a couple large glasses of water, lay on yoru left side with your hand on your stomach and count.

often we get busy and don't notice the movements. but when you lay down and feel for them.. they are usually there

If you are past 28 weeks then you should be feeling them approximately that much. Sometimes babies have lazy days and won't move much. You should count during the most active times for your baby. If it continues again tomorrow I would call your doctor.

I wouldn't be over concerened as long as you have felt her move and just get a check up as soon as you can

that's really poor advice. Decreased fetal movement IS something to be concerned about.

She is probably asleep! Try laying on your back for abit, that always works with me. They have sleeping patterns no like us and u will probably find she wakes when your still or in bed and sleeps when your busy. As long as you can feel her at some point in the day she fine. I've never heard of 10 times in 2 hours before either, when are they supposed to sleep! Gd luck anyway and try not to worrie x

again.. POOR advice.. you do not know. a fetus sleeps in ten minute intervals. feeling 10 movements ALL day is not good. Laying on her back to feel kicks.. also NOT good. Laying on your back during pregnancy restricts bloodflow to the baby.

again.. OP... drink water... lay on your side.. and feel for movements. Do not take advice from BG mamas that contradict what your dr told you

I thought the same thing, I thought it was at least 10 movements throughout the day, How is anyone supposed to get through the day monitoring the movement of every 2 hours? lol I'm almost 27 weeks, And she moves at least a bazillion times day and night, Be buggered if i could count it all!!

you don't count constantly.. just when you notice you haven't felt as much baby movement as usual.

lol to be fair i kept the counting up for 2 weeks then just lost track so now i just make sure i can feel her move at least a couple times a day but i am 37 weeks now and apartenly movements slow down this far along i have had 2 kids b4 but i never went this far along with them lol so everything im going threw now is all to new for me

If you read it I said I wouldn't be OVERLY concerned and to get checked as SOON as you can! So get off your high horse and go to TDC if your looking for smurf to start! 10 times in 2 hours isn't the correct kick count

really? you know that? My RN degree and labor and delivery training say it IS the correct count. thanks though... sorry- but your "expert" advice isnt' needed. Don't give out medical advice if you don't know.
