The one that was beating her kid was the one who burned her arm/hand right? Or is that a different one and i never knew about the other one.

Crazy. Just plain crazy.

I wish I were more shocked by this story, but people are just so stupid sometimes!

It reminds me of a recurring nightmare that I used to have, back before I got divorced...It was that I left the house to do stuff and was gone for hours and hours, like 12 hours or something...And then suddenly it would occur to me that I left the kids home alone. So I would frantically try to get a hold of them and race back home bargaining with God in my mind the whole time that I will never ever do this again if they just can be safe. Sometimes I get home and find them fine, other times I don't remember what happens after that...

But the strange thing is, I had that dream ALL THE TIME when I was married...But the past two years, not once.
