"Mom, can I have...."

Anyone else's kid(s) ask a question and then immediately ask the same thing a few times before you can even answer them?

I know grown adults who will do this.

Yes, I think it's because my husband doesn't hear him so he just repeats it. And if I tell him no, or later, he just keeps asking until he gets upset that he can't have it.

Yep! Dd did it 6 times yesterday while I was peeing. And even after I said ok hold on and ill get your drink she still tried to turn.up the kool aid pitcher and drink from the spout.

When I finally have an opening I say "Just give me a second to answer, please, before you ask me again" in a kind of stern voice. Adria will cover her ears and her face will crumple like I yelled at her hahaha.

He's been doing that one a while too. I tell him to get his shoes on, which he can do. "i caaaaaaaan't!" And gets all mad and throws his shoes.

I also hear "I do everything about here, why don't you clean up" at least once a day lolol.

Yep. That happens too. He knows how but he's just trying to be lazy.
