would you drop her as a friend?

I posted before about a guy I am friends with but have somewhat of a crush on.. well I have this one friend who is trying to be "helpful" and she since we started hanging out has been telling me every bad thing she can about him and trying to make it so i dont want to even be his friend!, and pressuring me to break off the friendship with him, and last night the straw broke the camels back.
He and I are JUST FRIENDS nothing more and she had the need to point out that he has some other girl come over (so hes not only guy i see) and that he texts his ex who he dated for 10yrs and has kids with that he misses her and that he is lonely etc apprently she has seen the texts but funny thing is she wasn't friends with this ex until she ran into her at the lake few days ago.. since than seems so much more worse!... and like i am not stupid and it's my choice who I hang out with, now i have to do damage control with him because her push push pushing made me text him and tell him we cant be friends anymore but when I thought about it she has the issue not me so why cant he and I be friends, we don't do anything normal friends would not do..
My cousin says if she was my friend she wouldn't make me feel this way, and that she thinks she obviously likes him or some jazz.. like she text me saying "hes just playing you and you dont want to see it", uh how can he play me were not dating or anything???.. my question is would you drop this girl as a friend or not? I have had issues with her before though with other things that include gossip and stuff.. she was one the reasons me and my ex broke up bc she was mutal friend of ours and he would tell her stuff and she would run back and tell me and I got sick of it and ended my five year relationship.. IMO friends dont do this.. and no i am not throwing away my friendship for a guy, i am just sick of drama.. would you drop hr as a friend..

yeah something def is not write i was so upset last night I texted him telling him maybe we shouln't be friends and than after i calmed down i texted an apologie which iim assuming hes gotten but prob thinks im pretty inmature.. its just the push push psh to do what she wants..

Honestly, you should've seen her immaturity when you ended your relationship over things she was telling you. Her and this situation seem very childish. I would just distance myslef and try to damage control. God only knows what she's been telling him  

i wouldn't talk to her anymore. she seems like she thrives on negative energy and drama, and why would anyone want someone like that around. and if she is going around telling you all this smurf about others, can you imagine what she is saying about you to them?

OH i know she is a two face but than is nice as gold to your face!, and she claims to hate drama yet she always causes it go figure

also I don't know how to do damage control with this friend i've apologized three times so I am hoping that he will atleast text me back and say either way if he will forgive me for the drama and stuff.. I am assuming he will because he knows how shes been acting and i have forwarded him some texts..

Uh she is the type of friend who when she has a boyfriend drops everyone else for him than when he does something that pisses her off she will text to bitch, she usually only texts to bitch and gossip.. but mostly bitch..
I thought i considered her a close friend but after this i dont even know anymore

don't do it too slowly or she will find a way to suck you back in. just tell her you need sometime to think and it would be best if you and her didn't talk.
