Need ideas for houses/shops!

I'm thinking about making http://kimboscrafts.blogspot.com/2012/02/fabric-dollhouse.html this for Christmas presents this year.   For my daughter and my 2 nieces. (2, 3 and 5) But I'm thinking of changing it up a bit. Maybe a barn instead of a house? Or a petshop? If you were making them, what would you do?

This reminds me of something my SO got from his gma for Christmas when he was little.. It was like a camper and had a bunch of camping related stuff inside.. (She loves and is very good with crafts) and from the adorable home videos I watched he LOVED it!   Lol It was very cute!
